Good news, we will continue to do our best to help you. I hope we are doing fine even if it's more difficult with these restricted events that they have now. We should concentrate on the pve or pvp? We are trying both. The transition to the 3* star is difficult since I dont have a lot of covers and now I am facing a lot of 141 level.0
-
Menious no problem a couple members said they were feeling burnt out so thats fine any contribution from them is great it was the few that said nothing and did nothing that were bringing the group down. Malorick you and the wife and kid have been killing it and really help us stay afloat. theyre a great example of how you can be competitive even with weaker rosters. I want to focus on pve cause thats our best **** at top 100 right now the better we show there the more momentum we can pick up leading into next season.0

Hi all!
Seen the post in "Alliance LF member", decided to try
Well, let me introduce myself - I'm a regular daily player (96th day in game) and as for now i have a good 2* rooster and lots of 1+ covers of various 3*. My S3 rating is 6600 (1300 of it is SHIELD). In PvP my goal is to stay in top-100 (usually 500+/- rating) and in PvE - i compete only if rewards are worth playing. This was numbers section
As for personal stuff - my goal is to have fun from game and I think it is possible only if to keep balance between game and real life (you definitely know how much efforts needed to stay in top-100). That means I'm not an MPQ fanatic and in some events I could show results lower than usual and for me it is normal. I'd like to have more communication and experience sharing between ally members. I don't spend money on game - that's my position.
And one more thing - currently I'm in other alliance (randomly chosen while searching) and I'd like to stay within it till s3 ending to contribute due to politeness issues. You can see my rooster by searching alliance FrogtownAvngrs, name - intelligent.
Hope to see interesting players and waiting for your invitation0 -
Don't know the situation with the dude above me but I'm going to be gone for the next few days, so if you find a suitable replacement, go ahead and boot me.
This game has just run its course for me. Had a great time in the alliance and wish everyone all the best though. I'll probably stick around to play some tournaments solo but I can't take the nonstop approach they've got going on. Hope to see you guys back in the top 100 soon!

Hey guys, thought I'd introduce myself now that I'm in the group.
I'm a 33 y/o scientist living in the Maryland, USA area, started playing the game in December and loved it. Currently on day 134 or so. Burned out a few months ago, took two seasons off, and now getting back into it. In looking back through some of the other messages, it looks like the burnout thing was prevalent in this alliance. Having taken some time off myself, I definitely think it's a good idea to step away from the game for a bit. Missing characters actually helps with the allure, I think. When you come back, there are some things you haven't gotten or tried yet, and that helps keep things fresh.
Anyway, I hope to be a good asset to the team. The time may come when I go back to playing casually or not at all as well, so I'll keep you all posted when that happens.0 -
Here's the link to the numbers so far in this season. The numbers don't have much meaning now but as the season progresses it will show what every member can be doing to optimize rewards and alliance placement. If anyone wants to edit to add any stats you think will be helpful go right on ahead.

the document is view only. we can't update it.0
-
Should everybody be able to update it though? I see goof ups and accidental erasures etc if everybody's messing with it.0
-
Is something up with the servers? I haven't been able to get into the game for the past hour. It just sits on the loading screen and says, "Check Internet Connection." Which obviously is fine cuz I'm on here writing a forum post! Restarted my phone, disconnected from wifi and went to 4G, etc. Nothing's working!!!!!0
-
Yeah pan I got the exact same thing going on here. Once the deadpool event ended I got kicked off.0
-
ok good im not the only one its happening too. been like that since i got home from work an hour ago0
-
After looking at the numbers from the spreadsheet, we can notice some low performers.
Here are the current low performers that we didnt hear anything from them.
ZombieGsus
GreenStorm
It's important to notify us all BEFORE an absence, so you dont get put on a list or kicked accidentally. We don't want to put stress on anybody but want to stay competitive and we are doing well even if we have low performer.
When we will found a replacement we will replace them since we have no news from them like it was discussed in the chat room with other member of our alliance.0 -
So I've been keeping track of my token pulls for the past month, July 11 to Aug 12. These are tokens collected from winning matches, PVP/PVE rewards. These are not covers won from matches. So in the past month I've gotten 181 tokens total, both silver and gold. Of those, I pulled only 17 gold covers. And of those, I could only use 13. So that's not quite a 10% drop rate of gold covers and, out of those, a 75% usability rate. Am I the only one who thinks this is abysmal? Is that the standard drop rate for 3* covers? That seems like an awful lot of work for very little reward. None of the covers that I could use actually improved any of my characters to make them viable. They're still mostly just half-naked newbies, although I did get my last DD purple.0

It's with a sad soul that I announce I am leaving.
I have too much piled up on my plate to continue playing regularly. It looks like now, I will be staying in Hampton VA for another week, because of that old age brat quitting. I didn't realize all that I have to do while I am out here. Pride and self worth has gotten the best of me. I want to take this route that does about 5 to 6k a week and grow it to at least 8k before I leave. School has also started for me. So on top of running a route, with no clue where I am going, I have assignments due quite frequently. And I won't even get started on the freak rainstorm that ruined my day yesterday.
I don't want to drag you guys down. I felt bad previously when I cut my playtime down. I appreciate the break you let me have, while getting rewards. I don't plan on quitting the game altogether. I'll probably play a couple times a week, but nothing close to what I feel I owe you guys. Thank you again; I had fun while I was here. I'll pull myself out when I get into the game next.

Sorry to hear about that Menious.
I have found a replacement but it was to replace Pulverise not you, He will join us as soon as a place is free and I have already told him that I will do it after work since I dont have access to the game right now.

Hello Everybody!
First of all, sorry to hear about all your troubles menius, gotta make that money though! Time or money as I always say, you can't seem to happily have both very easily. Best of luck dude!
New Guy here! My s/n is thejake01
See my post that got me here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5159&start=2060
I work in IT and have been in managed services (we do IT for other companies) for 10 years. The last games I cracked out on hard were...Diablo 3, The Pinball Arcade, Pac-Man Championship DX+, Borderlands, Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk.
I have two pinball machines and started playing competitively IRL a few months ago, got 5th in the league for 10 weeks under the four "pros". Got bracketed with the pros for the final tournament and quickly took 5th.
I am married and with 300 hours my wife is starting to get irritated about the game, she likes it more than Diablo and can keep up when I talk about it, she doesn't play much because I get worried about all my health packs going away in 5 mins but I might see if she wants to work on some PvE when I'm at pinball or something because I don't get a full session in those nights anyway. I play at night before bed and maybe an hour or two here and there on the weekends or if she's playing Peggle
Some questions I have for you guys:
How do I know when to tank?
I hit about 600 points and start to see some of the enemies levels rise but don't know when I should tank. Inevitably if I continue and all the teams get really high levels and I have to dig for 94s then I get smacked for like -150 points over the course of a day. I've started wising up and tanking when it gets hard to find a match that I can actually win but is there a tell that I know "you just got moved into the big boys got you on their radar and you're gonna get pummelled if you don't tank now" time.
Do I level my 3* or not level my 3*?
With PVP giving +50% my current plan was to get them to 62 until I have enough to make a decent all covered team, then in PVP featured would be 93 if I have them leveled to that point and not throw me in over 94 territory, is that correct thinking?
PvE
Any hot tips for getting quick points in PvE? Often my health packs and time get swallowed up by keeping up on PVP and I want to make sure I get some PvE in too to keep things up. Do they always give more points in the last one or two sub events?
Is it more beneficial for the alliance to spend equal time in PVP and PvE equally or at the least spend some time in each so that we maintain a consistent ranking?
Let me know but I almost feel like I just answered that one while asking it lol
Any other hot tips you guys got for me?
I usually run OBW+Thor or OBW+Ares or Daken+Ares, Daken+Wolverine, Ares+MN Mags stuff like that. I'm leveling Bullseye now because I think he might help mitigate damage in PvE to make node grinding less health consuming. I haven't leveled Cap/storm/moonstone/hawkeye because quite honestly when I see them I think "easy target", am I wrong, should I be sprinkling one of those in there too and lvling them up? I only need 1 or two more covers to max my tiny torch too and was thinking of doing him as his stuff is all low cost.
Thanks for the warm welcome, this is pretty neat!0 -
Hey all,
I left some messages in chat yesterday but I thought I'd post here to say that I've checked out too. I do like this game, but it does become a chore. I'm trying to rotate seasons on and off so I'll take Season 5 off. If I'm feeling up for it and if you all have some space in the alliance during Season 6, I'll see if I can hop back in. I'll probably lurk around the forums for a bit to see which new characters get added and what not.
I definitely recommend doing the season rotation as well if you're getting burned out on the game. I took two seasons off and ended up in some really soft brackets when I came back in, was able to top 5 my first two events with a little over 600 points, and my season bracket was soft too which I was able to also top 5 with a pretty middling score (just under 11k). That seems to be the main cure for these "death brackets."
Thanks for the good times! Good luck going forward!
