Devil Dino. I'm debating whether to save up and champ him.

Anniversary's coming up soon. I could get a few covers for him if I'm lucky, assuming they don't bring in someone completely new.

It would be a shame to waste them since I have him at 13 covers already. But it also seems kinda silly to pour the ISO into him when championing him is going to take literally 15 billion years.

But at the same time...I really wanna do it...
What do you guys think? All my other 4*s are kinda not ready yet. I'm working on the last 35K ISO for King Pin and...Nick Fury and IW are kinda ehhh...same for Professor X.
Thoughts? =)

    I'm hoping for more covers for him myself. I've got him champed and ready to go!

    He's got a lot of health, and his purple is the cheapest ability in the game, so if you team him with Kamala Khan, every purple match will heal your team. (Use them with Black Panther for rainbow coverage.)

    He's a purposefully underpowered trophy 4* that is only rewarded once a year.

    You make your own decisions, but I'm not running in so much iso that I would ever invest in something like that.

    It's probably a huge waste of time, effort, and ISO.

    If you do decide to champ him, please remember to level him up 1 level at a time to get the discount on levelling. If you press level to max, you end up paying more ISO.

    P.S. Don't do it.

    I've got mine to lvl 270 (no champ yet). Team him w/ Antman+Blade/LDaken and they are surprisingly effective. Not fast, but once they start rolling, watch out...

    Same here. Now that I've champed Cho Dino is the only fourstar I have with thirteen covers. If there's champion levels to get, I'm gonna get them.

    My Devil Dino is 3/3/3 so I doubt I will finish him this go round. I'd rather we got some more Howard covers. Him I want to champion.

    Apparently each level you apply manually gets a discount. Mine is level 200, and has 876 of the 2733 ISO needed to move to level 201 already applied. Supposedly if you go up one level at a time each level is cheaper, but if you use the max button you pay the full price.

    Until 4-star PVP becomes a regular thing, DD and Howard are the only 4stars who have repeat PVPs. Better to have them as champions than as borrowed essentials, as half the players of your level will have them.

    Not exactly. The amount shown on the "Level 270" button is the amount you'd have to spend to level up a normal, non-discounted 4-star character to 270. Reportedly, some guy did it and it worked fine, only spending the ISO required, not the pictured amount.

    Just Devil Dino. His total ISO cost to max is discounted by a little more than 40K ISO.

    Update:
    Bought a 10-pack from the anniversary vault and got 3 Devil Dinos. I'd been slowly levelling him up the last week or so. I lucked into my last Magneto 2* cover to max him out, sold him and now I have a level 273 Devil Dino.

    Good lord he's not very good at max level, is he? I remember when he first came out and 2700 damage for 6 red or 6 green felt like a lot. Here's hoping his new moves kick ****.

    I like to keep him just so that I can show that I am a long time mpq player. I kept howard too. But howard can be very effective and annoying compared with devil dino. I preferred to have dino's old purple. At least you can spam it with Kamala Khan.

    I now have 10 covers... I've won two already from tokens.. I hope to be able to champion him this anniversary!!! I would be super sad to let any of his covers go to waste. Plus I'm sure he's fun to use in PVE.

    In Sim PVP, I should run a team of Devil Dino, Howard and Gwenpool. It won't last long in a fight, but it would put a smile on my opponents' faces.

    I got my 14th devil dino cover last weekend. I am missing the iso to champ him though.
