Honestly, what's the difference?!

I can't believe I feel it necessary to make this post...but I gotta! In the above stickied post by one of the mods, we are told we cannot post videos of our matches if our opponent's name is not blurred or covered up. However, we are then subsequently told that we CAN mention an opponent by name if our intent is without malice.

Why can an opponent be singled out in one instance but not another?!?! What's the difference?

The post that was created yesterday that prompted the stickied post was not malicious by any means. It was a respectful video, and the associated text by the OP was just as respectful. So once again, what's the difference?!

I'm not trying to be difficult, but this kind of moderation seems wishy-washy at best, and appears to lack reasoning. I appreciate all that the mods do for this forum (especially since it's done for free), but not everything requires moderation such as this. If these are the forum rules then they are incoherent in design.
