I'm bored

I'm at the later stage of the game, so this is not the first time I've been bored or burnt out, but this is the worst it's ever been. In the past, I've taken a break or sold characters just so I would have motivation to get covers (plus hp from nerf sales sans moonstone did not hurt).

However, I've had several cases lately where I did not even bother finishing dpdq. Pvp is a sad joke. 1000 and 1300 progressive is nice but where it's the incentive or competition to actually try and place well for rewards. Some will point out 1st is for a 4*, but let's be honest, that's usually for whoever is willing to spend the most hp per event. Others will say season placement, but I rather have my hp for roster slots than more moonstone covers to keep my already max moonstone company.

Again progressives are nice, but there is no adrenaline pumping in that regard. It's simply a matter of the right slice and patience.

Then there's pve. I used to love pve. But some how a 7 day event with grinding subs at the end just does not have the same appeal when the rewards are a character it will take many months to cover and iso. It used to be for 3*s, you could max cover in 3 months or less and the covers were reasonably priced if you missed out on one.

Now, we don't even get a 4* progressive cover in the subsequent pve. And cover prices have never been adjusted to take into account the 4* tier becoming the norm.

The bottomline is it not fun to work hard for a character, but you don't get the pay off for that work until much later.

Thankfully, mpq did fix sim. That used to be the worst feature each season, but I have to admit, it is much improved. Guess, I'll just continue to wait patiently for other stuff to get me reinvigorated. After all, it would be nice to see how the dark reign story that we started 2 years ago ends.

Patience is best at this point. a 4* feature has to be incoming soon, once they have enough 4*s in the game to do an actual rotation, they will put it alongside, or part of, DDQ. It is only logical.

But hey, you have a new 1* to build soon!

What bores me is the same pve fights over and over again. Dark Avengers, Dark Avengers, Dark Avengers. There are like 80 characters now how about we have an event that uses a few different ones.

I'm with you OP. 4* land has become a massive chore and I am on a temporary, likely to become permanent unless something major changes, break.

Am enjoying having Friday nights to see family and go out. Am enjoying not burning out Tuesday night in PvP and suffering at work on Wednesday. Am earning brownie points for building long promised flat pack furniture and mowing the lawn on Sunday afternoons.

Have a 5/4/1 Hulkbuster and can't be bothered to try to hit 1,000 in the current PvP to go 5/5/1. Maybe I'm cured

life is too short - do things you enjoy. so far I've enjoyed the game enough to put the time into it. I really hope that I don't get to the point you guys are at, but if I do, oh well, move on to something else I enjoy. I'm just excited to be able to take my 1/1/1 hb to 1/2/1 at this point.

Everything else is from the Dark Avengers. They consistently use Dark Avengers in PVE since they are the vlillians in the game. I can't think of another PVE that is not DA related.

Current Ant-Man PVE, DDQ (which is a PVE). So that is 7 PVE's without them, whats the total WITH them?

Looks like... 10 PVEs that are mostly Dark Avengers enemies vs.. 7 PVEs that are not Dark Avengers centric (I don't really agree that we should be counting Daily Deadpool in this but we're splitting hairs at this point).

That... depressing. Considering the number of characters in this game, the idea that the ratio is more 1:1 of Dark Avengers events vs Everyone else makes me grimace, and even if we want to argue how Dark Avengers centric some of the events are, I personally feel anything even close to 1:1 still is kind of a waste of all the characters in the game.

now compare it to a year ago.. It looks like they are adding content at a decent pace.. not fast enough for us, we all want new content much faster.. but at least it is happening.

Not much in the MCU happening in 2016 outside of Civil War (non-disney/marvel looks good though) so maybe that will give them time to work on new content , and not forced publicity events (which ant-man and ultron rocked, so i am ok with those as well).

I'm bored of the white knights acting like the pr department for d3. They overdosed on the lego movie I think. Everything is awesome!!! I guess we need to follow the instructions to find the fun..

I feel the boredom coming on myself. I was grinding through ISO Brotherhood for chances at Jean Grey, but after Saturday evening, I just threw in the towel. The same events are starting to get old and I would love to see a new storyline to fight through. It was announced a while back the Dark Reign title was getting axed, but the storyline is still alive and well. Ultron was a welcomed shot in the arm, along with DDQ, and DP vs. MPQ was fun...the first time around. I'm hoping for some more Growth Industry type events in the future. That might provide a much needed shot in the arm. Of course, I'll give the "new" DP vs. MPQ a shot for the new Deadpool, but if I fall out of contention, like in The Hulk, I'm out. I was thinking that perhaps, if possible, there could a separate event or storyline of some kind for the veterans/whales where the difficulty is a bit ramped up with new content and improved rewards. Like the PVP event where you have to buy in, but are guaranteed high level rewards. Just a thought to not just end by complaining and offer no solutions/suggestions...

Are you saying you are not enjoying the ISO 8 brotherhood sub with super beefed up hood and Juggs with a green and yellow feeding goon for 6 of the 9 nodes? ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!!!

Bu it will give an old 3* so a lot of players will skip it. D3 will then say game play significantly drops off when there is an old character and will go back to releasing 1 character a week.

Is no-one other than me glad for a lazy PVE after the monstrous grind-fest that the Jean Grey release was? Barely playing it, just farming iso and getting sub tokens... been a very relaxing week.. and this game needs those lazy weeks, or we all burn out and/or get bored.

I am hoping the Deadpool movie brings a huge new storyline, since they are releasing the 4* version, they can't just let it slide.

If it starts to get old, just take a break.. i took a week off a few months ago and just browsed the forums, because i was burnt out after back to back to back to back releases..

You have nothing to lose by taking a break, your daily's pick up where you left off, you will log in to loads of gifts and alliance rewards.. and most importantly, you will look at the game a little differently.
