Where's the diversity?

In my roster I only have one female cover that doesn't have a double whereas the male characters, I have 7 that don't have a double. That being said, I believe the only female characters without a double are only two. The rest have a variation, only storm and black widow. Not too big of a problem, but does this mean we are getting variations for the other two as well, the dark avenger characters. It's a really short list to me to go that route, and considering the last 3 new chracters were male, we need some variation.

The devs said that they are trying to do a variation of both styles. They will be adding new characters and alternate versions of other characters. But I doubt if they make moonstone a 3* or 4*, no one really uses her now. I can see Ms.Marvel being added though. And I'm still waiting to see emma frost, deadpool, and night crawler.

Hmm, I thought they said originally the game was going to be full of dupes but that line of thinking changed and Patch would probably be one of the last of the originally planned dupes.

They said they are trying to stay away from dupes and add more covers we don't have yet, though I'm sure there will have to be more dupes at some point.

Pretty much what everyone else said. A dev, I believe is was Ice said that they were moving away from dupes and patch would be the last for a while.

There is tons if it. I'm sure if we really dug into it there's gonna be at least 50-100 different races. For example almost any character not from earth? If you are referring to black Mexican Asian white etc etc, they are all the human race and that would make your comment extremely "racist"

Not where I was going with it, but if you want to take it in that direction. There is only one black character in this game. There may be some in the marvel universe, and I can name Blade and Luke Cage. There is little diversity in this rendition for sure, and especially if they crank out covers lets start seeing some of that.

I don't think this is such a problem, I would rather see interesting or useful characters to be released, not a poorly made character who purpose is to please an ethnic minority, I'm not against it, I want to see characters who are enjoyable to use and fit into the game.

They could make the ethnic minority character's skills interesting and useful! Then you could have your enjoyment and everyone can feel included. We can have it all.

I never said it couldn't be both, when I see a new character I look at their powers/skills, not the colour of their skin, if they are good I'm happy. I want to see a relevant character not someone like fat cobra.

Relevance to the story line means zilch to me. The writers can make anything relevant by any means they want. Sticking to the original dark reign characters is silly and limits the game. Cool looking art with cool powers is what I want. It would be uber easy to take a non dark reign character and fit them into the story.
