If you DON'T want a character to tank a color.....?

My Original Black Widow is at Level 84. My Deadpool is at Level 43.

In the PvE, OBW is boosted to Level 124, with Deadpool to Level133.

I am afraid to level my Original Black Widow up, because as of right now, Wade is tanking that Pink for her. He is hitting for 66 and she is hitting for 65. OBW is fully covered and eligible to level to 94, but I can't level DP up, anymore.

If I level her up even ONE level, will that make her Pink jump up higher than 65?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Well, in this specific case you likely want OBW to tank all her colors. Espionage does nothing if she doesn't, and wade's black can save her tush if she's about to take a power in the face. Assuming you've spec'd her properly at 3/5/5, I think you'd be better off with her out front on, minimally, purple and blue. OBW stealing one each of those colors on match is a factor that helps Agressive recon and anti-gravity device maintainable.

Also, Deadpool's black becomes pretty useless if he's tanking everything.

ZOMGOSH........I never realized that her powers ONLY worked if she was tanking those specific colors....nor did I realize that his was the same.

I'd actually recommend leveling characters together as a group instead of maxing some over others to help keep pve scaling in check... but it's probably too late by the time you read this. heh.

lol. I was sitting on 55,000 Iso, so it was about time.

I have Ares, OBW, and the 2* versions of Thor and Daken at Level 94, now.

........is that okay? Or did I still end up PHAIL?

Nah, you have quite a few people in the same level range so you should be fine, but on the other hand, if you end up with a lot of Deadpool covers, you don't want to level him to like 120, so his level is a metric higher than everyone else's, but level him to around 100, so he'll be nice and strong, but not spiking your scaling up a lot.
