    On the one hand green is clearly Beast's best power so it makes sense it'd be the hardest to get, on the other hand at least throw us the Blue.

    Beast won't be the reward until they run at least one PVE where he's a required character and is available as a progression reward.

    Why does everyone have to freak out when something's different? Just because previous rewards have been a certain way doesn't mean they can't change it. There's no rules written somewhere that say rewards must be given out in a certain fashion. Only the unwritten rules in your own mind.

    Mostly because this changed in a negative way for the average player (or rather average Top 100 Alliance player) if they had made Green Top 100 Player/Alliance and made Yellow the most inaccessable everyone would just go "Huh that's strange and different. I like it though."

    As I posted in the first post, rewards would be a couple hours late. But by the time you posted this, the rewards had already been mentioned by a number of people in the thread.

    This time I joined a bracket very early.
    I guess I will soon discover that I share this bracket with many other <cough>crazy<cough> forumites.

    Beside, maybe the RNG Gods decided that after being unlucky* in last heroic pve, I deserved an easy bracket... and some Beast covers
    I think this makes sense, this is just the first pvp with Beast rewards, no reason that there will be competition icon_rolleyes.gif


    *In fact, not really unlucky, rather well asleep and I didn't bother to even think to wake up for the end of pve.
    With this kind of behavior, I doubt RNG gods will be pleased icon_twisted.gif

    And you would be right...! Not that it's always easy, but there doesn't seem much interest from the early starters -- yet.

    I went to bed first in the hard and 7th in the easy, and woke up 20th in both, which is I think the least I've ever dropped overnight. It might just be my brackets, but this may be really low activity, which means that Beast cover may be fairly hard to get. That's just my experience, though. The Beast cover and the tokens are all I particularly want (aside from ISO and HP, of course) from this event.

    EDIT: And I realized I got my tabs mixed up again.

    I got hit a bunch yesterday, so I kind of dreaded opening the app this morning, figuring I had lost 100 points overnight. Instead, I was up 30. My bracket's looking rough enough that I might just settle for top 25 though - I think I'd need about 1000 for top 5 now, which means it'll likely be up to 1200+ by the time it matters. I'm not spending 300 hp extra for an extra Beast cover; he's not good enough to merit it.

    This morning, around 7:00 UTC+1, I was just hit for -30. I fought a few fights and settled above 600. At this time only two players were above 1000 in my bracket. If I find in a few hours that I'm in a not so competitive bracket I'll be happy to aim for 800pts and shield for 8h until the end for a top25.

    Else, as I know I'm not competitive enough to easily score a lot much above 800, I won't push and will enjoy a top50/100! icon_e_smile.gif

    You know, with Beast's debut PvE screwing over Europeans, was it really too much to ask to atleast have a PvP event with Beast rewards end at an EU-friendly time?

    But then, this is Demiurge we're talking about: a studio that would be a shoe-in for a life-time achievement award of most-out-of-touch-with-player-community...

    I agree it would have been nice but at least in tournament with unfriendly end-time you have the option to reach a high score before end then shield until the end. In pve your only option is to wake up icon_rolleyes.gif ...
