Why isn't Captain Marvel in any tokens?

Seem like historically she should be showing up in at least the event tokens but she didn't even make the cut for those. I at least want my .7% chance for characters i don't have!

    They haven't added her, She-Hulk (who was released earlier) or Deadpool to standard and heroic tokens yet. Since they usually release them to tokens in threes, it shouldn't be too much longer.

    I think Ice said some time ago that wasn't necessarily going to be the pattern moving forward, but he was typically vague about it. As with everything regarding this game, it is all subject to change without reason. Working as intended! icon_razz.gif

    He was vague enough I'm not taking it to mean a lot. She-Hulk is way overdue; Captain Marvel is at least due (Baby Torch came out between them). I'm stockpiling tokens until they get added, since I'm missing 17 covers for those three and - at most - probably 5 for all the other 3*s put together after tomorrow night.

    Yeah I mean if they don't do a batch add she-hulk is super overdue but she at least shows up in TaT and Deadpool PvP tokens for instance and has been in those types of tokens for some time.

    i forgot She-hulk was even in my roster i don't think I've ever used her

    They don't "usually" add character to tokens in threes. Usually, it's been one at a time several weeks after a character has been rewarded. It is true they have not added a character recently (even though some should be due by now).

    I have a theory. Maybe... Just maybe, they are finally doing something about token bloat and reorganizing token structure altogether so that there is finally some sense in the whole system (dedicated 3* token? 3*s spread in differently branded group tokens?). One can only hope. In reality they are probably just late with adding new 3*s and nothing changes. At least not for the better... icon_neutral.gif

    If you want to get pedantic, the last 2 or 3 times they've added characters to tokens it's been in threes. Maybe "lately" would have been more strictly speaking accurate, but that's how they've been doing it for a while now.

    Maybe they forgot about her like the everyone else forgot about her given she was an Avenger for an extensive period of time.

    Baby Torch is 2*; he doesn't really count.

    Digging through the Patch Notes, Lazy Thor, Psylocke, and Black Panther were added at the same time, too. Falcon appears to have been released solo, and I can't find Lazy Cap or Human Torch listed. So there may have less of a pattern than I though. Still, there are three 3*s to add, a new one is liable to be introduced in the next PVE (they've been very consistent with the every other PVE thing for a while now), so I think three in the next batch is reasonable to expect.

    I think they hit a problem with how they did with 2* Torch. We have to many characters already that they may need to start rotating characters to not screw up the percentages. With Fury (pending official release), Marvel, Deadpool, and the new character, we have would be pushing either 3* numbers down (bad), or 2* numbers down (good). It seems like the devs don't want to release a 3* only pack (which I'd place at 900 in PvP) or give 3*s a higher draw rate.
