Girl FRIDAY - 10 AP
Ok, FRIDAY, let’s hit’em where it hurts. Tony uses his A.I. assistant to identify his opponent’s weaknesses and strike. Converts 4 of the enemy’s strongest color basic tiles to Red. After the board settles, destroys all remaining basic Red tiles. (Does not generate AP.)
Level Upgrades
House Party Protocol - 12 AP
Welcome to the party, boys. Iron Man empties his vault and calls back-up armor to his aid. Creates 3 3-turn Yellow Countdown tiles that deal 1169 damage. If Iron Man would take 1632 or more damage, remove one of those tiles and prevent damage.

wow, that's a huge team composition component in red. red and yellow seem very powerful, but for being cds, that's what you'd expect. GG and his fortification seems really important for these guys.0

Any idea what happens if the enemy's strongest color is Red? Go to the second-strongest color? Is it random? Does it not work?0 -
Half way through Captain America, I will test it when I can0

I think it would just destroy all basic red tiles.0 -
Optimal build is likely 5/3/5, blue only gets minimal benefits from extra covers.
All academical on a fivestar of course.0 -
Thanks for the info, but should read "5 star rarity", not 4.0

The Winning Team - 9 AP
If we can’t work together, we’re no better than the bad guys. Iron Man deals 1632 damage to the target, plus an extra 707 damage for every Team Iron Man character on his team.
Level 5: Deals 8744 damage to the target, plus an extra 8089 damage for every Team Iron Man character.
Does Iron Man count himself as a team Iron Man Character?
So is it minimum of 8744 + 8089(for himself) = 16,833 when there are no other TIM members or he is the last man standing?
I ask because it is similar to OML's healing which read in a similar fashion
Die Hard - Passive
(PASSIVE) Logan's healing factor keeps him standing, but ain't quite what it used to be. At the start of the turn, Wolverine restores 219 health for each team member still in the fight.
Level 5: 1586 for each team member.
Logan heals 1586 if he is last man standing as he is considered a team member0 -
So 9 red AP for 24k with the right team? Well then...0

It looks like that, but you want to maximize the cascade potential for blue before the red tiles are destroyed, so maybe 4/5/4 can be a good build (or 5/4/4). There is not that much difference in both yellow and red from 4 to 5, just a little bit more damage, and this two extra tiles from 6 to 8 can be the difference from nothin to big cascade. At least you can also get a cascade when the tiles are destroyed.
The bad thing about blue, or similar powers like sirgical strike, is that they are hard to recast for maximal effect. Blue maybe a little bit expensive.
Red is crazy powerful if you use other team-IM, problem is that the other 5 that is team IM is SS0 -

I may not agree with team Iron Man, but he is clearly the dominant 5*. I wish they would have at least made this a hard decision0
-
The 2nd half of his Yellow power is sort of backwards. It requires *more* damage to Iron Man for it to trigger, not less.
So it ends up more likely to 'go off' and damage the enemy but less likely to save Iron Man from damage. It's essentially a 5* equivalent of Maggia Pawns.

It's weird that Phoenix is listed as team IM in the big list, but not in the game. She would be great with him, feeding that big red blast with her purple.0 -

Well in OML description it doesnt appear in game that he is team Cap so I guess the list is probably better info than the display ingame, so probably she is team IM and yeah, her purple with the blue can be deadly, and if we add SS they are a rainbow team.0 -
The Winning Team, when used with two Team Iron Man characters, does damage comparable to Goblin Glider, and unlike GG it can be reused whenever needed. TWT does 2769/AP (assuming it doesn't count IM himself), GG does 2814/AP and costs 1 AP less.
edit: There are limited options for good Team IM teams. He doesn't go very well with his only 5* partner, Silver Surfer, since SS's best powers are also red and blue. His only 4* teammates worth considering are Quake and Red Hulk.
edit 2: 5* Spider-Man is also on Team IM. All of the alliance announcements were wrong.
Girl Friday is a massive board shake with decent damage. Since red is IM's main color, it will do big damage for every tile destroyed -- 655 at level 450. It will usually do over 1000/AP. Removing all of a single basic type is very good for cascades.
Very good. It should go well with Phoenix for match-5s.
House Party Protocol is his yellow CD power, a callback to IM40. It does decent damage if they can all stay on the board -- 2117/AP -- but this will likely be uncommon. It also avoids IM taking big damage -- but it doesn't avoid damage to his teammates. A mixed-benefits part is that as IM46 gains levels, the minimum damage he needs to take to avoid damage increases. The positive side is that the CD damage is always comparable to the damage you need to take, meaning the trade-off is balanced.
Somewhat expensive at 12 AP. Good.
IM46 is tied with 5* Steve as having the highest health in the game by a small margin. His tile strengths are only outshone by OML and his crit multiplier is tied with Goblin as the best 5*. His red can do big dumb damage, his other moves do decent damage, and his blue is highly useful.
Phoenix is a good companion option, as another red generator who also benefits from IM's blue, (edit:) but she isn't on Team IM.
Rec build: 5/5/3. Blue is the most important. Red levels up better than yellow.0 -

... or 3/5/5 if you don't want to be shackled to Team Iron Man characters in your team build.
Basically anything with five blue is solid.0 -
I might say SS is a good partner for him too. Red charged tiles getting nubbed off of the field is always good.
OR pair him with Howard the duck then kick the **** out of the red on the board, then follow it up with kicking the **** out of the green on the board.0 -

Excellent, although it will limit your team choices if you want all the damage. The other Team IM 5*s are Phoenix and Surfer.

Very good overall. Should go well with Phoenix for match-5s, but then you share red powers.

Phoenix looks like his best companion, as another red generator who also benefits from IM's blue. Unfortunately, SS and IM46 share both of their two best colors. The plus side is that the Team IM 5* team (IM46/Phoenix/SS) is full spectrum.

It doesn't specify "still in the fight" or something like that. Do valid DOWNED teammates still grant extra damage?0
